The National Construction Authority, founded under the Act No. 41 of 2011, is a government agency that oversees all areas of the Kenyan construction industry – including the registration of contractors to ensure that only competent builders are allowed to work in the country.
Section 15 of the NCA Act states that no builder shall conduct the business of a contractor in Kenya without an annual clearance certificate from the Authority.
Here is the procedure for NCA renewal of licence.

A message will also be sent to the mobile number used during the registration.
Editor’s Note: The NCA renewal fees range between Sh2,500 and Sh30,000.
