  • Canceled: Withdrawn applications are indicated by this status.

Here’s How To Check Your WITS Application Status

Once you have applied, you can check your application status using the log-in details supplied during the initial application process.

  1. Go to the WITS Application status Portal via: https://self-service.wits.ac.za
  2. Log in with your Application Details, i.e Your username and password or index number.
  3. Applicants – Your Password is your date of birth in (YYMMDD) format eg. 861224
  4. Navigate to the Admission Letter section to download and print your admission letter.
  • Protect Your Password. Do not divulge your password to anyone. Do not leave a PC unattended if you are logged in. You and only you will bear the consequences if there is damage or loss arising from abuse of your User ID and Password. Please be careful.
