The Eldoret National Polytechnic has recorded tremendous growth in the development of middle-level training as an institution since its inception. It has continually fulfilled its mandate of training young people to acquire skills and technical knowledge that are in line with the industrial growth of our country.

- Vocational and Technical Trainer – Mathematics and Statistics
- Vocational and Technical Trainer – Civil Engineering
- Vocational and Technical Trainer – Quantity Survey
- Assistant Vocational and Technical Trainer – Cosmetology / Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy
- Vocational and Technical Trainer – General Agriculture
- Vocational and Technical Trainer – Animal Health
- Vocational and Technical Trainer – Horticulture
- Vocational and Technical Trainer – Food Technology
- Vocational and Technical Trainer – Information Communication Technology (ICT)
Assistant Vocational and Technical Trainer – Water Engineering
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:- a Higher Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Building & Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, Land Surveying, Water Engineering, Architecture or equivalent and relevant qualifications from a recognized institution; and be registered by the Relevant Professional Body (where applicable)
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:-
- undertaking training in areas of specialization in accordance with the syllabus;
- preparing teaching/learning materials and schemes of work;
- setting and marking examination/assignment;
- carrying out research work under the guidance and supervision of a senior trainer; and
- supervising trainees’ projects and practical work
Vocational and Technical Trainer – Mathematics and Statistics
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Bachelors Degree in in any of the following fields: Analytical Chemistry, Applied Biology, Aquaculture and Fisheries, Chemical 49 Engineering, Community Health, Economics and Statistics, Environmental Science, Health Records, Mathematics and Physics, Mathematics & Statistics, Medical Laboratory, Nutrition and Dietetics, Pharmaceutical, Physical Education, Science Laboratory Technology, Tannery and Leather Work or equivalent and relevant qualifications from a recognized institution

Vocational and Technical Trainer – Civil Engineering

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Diploma/TVET-CDACC level 6/City & Guilds in any of the following fields: Hair & Beauty Therapy/Cosmetology or equivalent and relevant qualifications from a recognized institution.

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Bachelors Degree in any of the following fields: General Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Entrepreneurship, Horticulture, Agriculture Value Addition, Dairy Technology, Agricultural Resource Management, Animal Health Production or equivalent and relevant qualifications from a recognized institution.

Vocational and Technical Trainer – Information Communication Technology (ICT)
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Bachelors Degree in any of the following fields: Information Science, Records Management & Information Technology, Library & Information Science or equivalent and relevant qualifications from a recognized institution.

Method of Application Interested and qualified persons are requested to submit their applications directly to the institutions where vacancies exist by filling ONE (1) PSC 2 (Revised 2016) application form and attaching copies of National ID card, academic and professional certificates, transcripts.
