PWC Bursary 2023 – Our Chartered Accounting (CA) training programme prepares you for the exciting world of business. This programme will expose you to impressive teams in a stimulating business environment.
You can apply to their CA training programme any time during your studies, including Grade 12. If your application is successful, your learnership will begin after you have completed your honours degree or once you’ve received your Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA).
PWC has different types of bursaries, ranging from an academic achievement award (merit award) to a tuition bursary to a full bursary. These bursaries are awarded against stringent criteria according to a sliding scale. It is possible that you may not qualify for a full bursary.

PWC Bursary Candidate Requirements
- Intention to become a Chartered Accountant (either studying the appropriate SAICA accredited degree or intending to study the appropriate SAICA accredited degree)
- Grade 12 with matric exemption and university acceptance. Mathematics and English as subjects (Maths Literacy doesn’t qualify) with a B symbol. An average of 75% for all your subjects.
- First and Second year university results – overall average of 70%.
- Third year university results – overall average of 65%.
- Proficiency in English and strong communication skills.
