This scholarship has been established to support Pasifika students seeking postgraduate degrees in Business.
This scholarship aims to provide financial support to enable Pasifika students to further their careers in business, recognizing the need for greater representation from the Pasifika community in the New Zealand business sector.
This award has been established to support talented Pasifika students to study Business at the Wellington School of Business and Government at Te Herenga Waka-Victoria University of Wellington.
Benefits of NZIER Scholarship
Value: Approximately $5,000 for one year tenure.
Requirements for NZIER Scholarship
1. This scholarship is open to Pasifika students intending to enrol in a Postgraduate Certificate, Diploma or Master’s degree in Business at the Wellington School of Business and Government at Te Herenga Waka-Victoria University of Wellington.
2. Applicants are expected to have met the admissions requirements for the qualification of interest.
3. Applicants will be assessed on merit however preference may be given to applicants experiencing financial hardship.
Documents Required for Victoria University of Wellington NZIER Scholarship
1. A one-page personal statement, explaining your reasons for wishing to attend the Wellington School of Business and Government, how the education will help you achieve your academic or professional goals and why you believe you merit the scholarship.
You should also include any leadership positions and details of your involvement in your school or community. Please provide an outline of your personal circumstances, including details of financial difficulties. More information may be requested if necessary.
2. Complete the financial section of the online application.
3. A character reference (to be requested via the online application).
4. An endorsement of ethnicity.
