About Northeastern University

Northeastern University (NU or NEU) is a special study institute with a major campus in Boston. The overall acceptance rate for Northeastern University was reported as 18.1% in Fall 2020 with over 62,300 applications submitted to NEU. Based on historical acceptance rate data, the projected NEU acceptance rate 2022 is estimated to be 20%, which means that for every 100 applications there are only 20 that are selected. This makes the admission process highly competitive and strenuous. You need to have high GPA, SAT and ACT scores if you want your application to be considered.

Northeastern University Admission Requirements

Students can submit either the ACT or SAT exam scores to NEU. A score between 1390 to 1540 on the SAT exam, or 32 to 35 on the ACT exam is among the 25th – 75th percentile range among admitted students. By applying sampled GPA data from over 150 schools, we are able to estimate that the NEU average GPA ranges from 3.90 to 4 for accepted students.
