The National Intelligence Agency (NIA) was established as a result of the dissolution of the National Security Organization (NSO) after the country’s security services were restructured in 1986 when decree Number 19 was set in motion as a fulfillment of one of the promises of Ibrahim Babaginda, Nigeria’s Military President at that time.

Requirements for NIA Recruitment
To qualify for NIA Recruitment 2022, you need to have the following:
- West African Examination School Certificate (WASC) or National Examination Council Certificate with at least 5 credits in relevant subjects including English and Mathematics. (Not less than two sittings) or
- Bachelor’s Degree/Higher National Diploma (HND) or Ordinary National Diploma (OND) Degree
- Knowledge in computer applications will serve as an added advantage.
