Applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified and eligible candidates for the Micro and Small Enterprise Authority (MSEA) recruitment 2023.

The Micro and Small Enterprise Authority (MSEA) is a state corporation established under the Micro and Small Enterprise Act No. 55 of 2012. The Act was developed through a stakeholder’s consultation process which took several years. The Authority is now domiciled in the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Co-operatives. The Act gives the Authority the mandate to formulate and Coordinate policies that will facilitate the integration and harmonization of various public and private sector initiatives, for the promotion, development and regulation of the Micro and Small Enterprises to become key Industries of Tomorrow. The Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) occupies a very strategic position in the development of this country. They cut across all sectors of the Kenyan economy and have been identified as major contributors to employment creation and income generation. Micro and Small Enterprises are therefore a major vehicle for poverty reduction and wealth creation.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions;

  1. Corporation Secretary and Legal Services
  2. Director Internal Audit
  3. Deputy Director Supply Chain Management
  4. Deputy Director Enterprise Development
  5. Senior Enterprise Development Officer
  6. Principal Infrastructure Development Officer
  7. Enterprise Development Officer
  8. Enterprise Development Assistant
  9. Accountant
  10. Senior Assistant Office Administrator

Method of Application

Successful candidates MUST satisfy the requirements of leadership and integrity as set out in Chapter six (6) of the constitution of Kenya. Shortlisted candidates will be
required to provide the documents listed during interview.

  • Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission clearance Certificate (EACC)
  • Kenya Revenue Authority Tax compliance Certificate (KRA)
  • Higher Education Loans Board clearance Certificate (HELB)
  • Certificate of Good Conduct from Criminal Investigation Department (CID)
  • Certificate from Credit Reference Bureau

Application letters should be accompanied by detailed CV including three referees, their email addresses and telephone contacts, copies of academic and professional certificates, and a copy of National Identity Card (ID).
NB: The reference number for the job being applied for should be quoted on both the envelope and the application letter.
All applications should either be sent through the post office or hand delivered to the Chief Executive Officer not later than 8th August, 2023.
