Makueni Youth Apprenticeship Program

The Government of Makueni County through the Department of Devolution, County Administration, Public Service and Youth would like to engage skilled and unskilled as project interns in different departments. The apprenticeship program shall run for four (4) months and is non-renewable.

The Makueni Youth Apprenticeship Program (MYAP) is a program through which job seekers are attached to the county projects in different departments to gain knowledge, skills and experience. MYAP covers both occupation related instruction and on-the-job skills training.

About Makueni County Public Service Board

Makueni County Public Service Board is established under Section 57 of the County Governments Act 2012. The Board was inaugurated on the 5th of August, 2013 as a body corporate with perpetual succession and seal capable of suing and being sued in its corporate name. It is composed of a Chairman, five Board Members and a Secretary all appointed by the Governor with approval of the County Assembly. Application Letter
Dully filled Internship/MYAP Application Form. The Form can be downloaded from Boards website via this link (https://makuenipsb.go.ke/ourservices/internship-myap-application-formm?)

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Letter of Completion from College or University (for Skilled Category)
  • Copies of Academic Certificates and Transcripts
  • Copy of National ID

Attach the above-mentioned documents and submit them in a sealed envelope clearly indicating the project location addressed to:

Or delivered by hand at the reception desk at Makueni County Public Service Board Offices located past Makueni Girls, Opposite Wote Technical Training Institute to be received on or before close of business on Thursday, 9th March 2023

Note:

  • Any application without the Internship/MYAP Application Form will not be considered
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
  • Conversing in any form will lead to automatic disqualification
  • Shortlisted candidates will be required to produce their original national identity card/valid passport, certificates and testimonials (for the skilled) at the interview
  • Affirmative action as stipulated in the constitution shall be applied
  • The Board does not charge a fee at any stage of the recruitment process and payment of any form of fee will lead to automatic disqualification
