About The Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship
Macquarie University is a public research university based in Sydney, Australia, in the suburb of Macquarie Park.
Founded in 1964 by the New South Wales Government, it was the third university to be established in the metropolitan area of Sydney.
The Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship (VCIS) is awarded to recognize academic excellence for international students.
This is a highly competitive scholarship based on academic merit and is awarded to talented students intending to pursue a Bachelor’s or Master’s coursework degree at Macquarie University.

This scholarship provides up to AUD $10,000 applied towards your tuition fee.
Requirements for the Macquarie University Scholarship
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a full-time international student commencing an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree (excluding Graduate Certificates and Global MBA courses) and meet the following criteria:
1. Achieve a minimum WAM equivalent of 65 for Postgraduate applications; or a minimum ATAR equivalent of 85 for Undergraduate applications.
2. Commence study in the session and year indicated in your scholarship letter of offer.
