Lieutenant-Colonel Henry Kirkpatrick Scholarship 2023 is now open for applications. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).

About Lieutenant-Colonel Henry Kirkpatrick Scholarship
Founded in 1899 at the London Docks, LSHTM is now based in Bloomsbury, where it has two main sites at Keppel Street and Tavistock Place, and additional sites in The Gambia and Uganda.
The Scholarship was set up for the promotion and encouragement of study in the ophthalmic section in memory of Lieutenant Colonel Henry Kirkpatrick.
Benefits of Lieutenant Colonel Henry Scholarship
One studentship is available for the 2023-24 academic year. This full-time one-year studentship will cover:
1. Full tuition fees for MSc Public Health for Eye Care at the overseas fee rate, and
2. GBP 19,500.00 tax free stipend towards living costs, flights and visa costs (including the international health surcharge), and;
3. GBP 1,500.00 towards MSc project costs, and
4. GBP 1,100.00 upon successful completion of the course to be used towards attendance at the Alumni Workshop during the week of the graduation ceremony.
Requirements for Lieutenant Colonel Henry Scholarship
1. This scholarship is open to all overseas applicants who hold an LSHTM offer of admission for the MSc Public Health for Eye Care course.
2. Preference will be given to applicants from low to lower-middle-income countries.
