Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB) was established in 1969 by the accountants act. KASNEB examinations cover topics on finance, accountancy, management, governance, information technology, etc. Below is a simplified explanation of how to get started with KASNEB online registration.

Any Kenyan seeking to be registered as a student for any KASNEB examination must show evidence of being a holder of one of the following minimum qualifications.
KASNEB Registration Requirements
Professional examinations
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination certificate with an aggregate average of at least grade C+ (C plus) provided the applicant has obtained a minimum of grade C + (C plus) in both English and Mathematics or equivalent qualifications.
- Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (KACE) with at least TWO Principal passes provided that the applicant has credits in Mathematics and English at Kenya Certificate of Education (KCE) level or equivalent qualifications.
- KASNEB technician, diploma or professional examination certificate.
- A degree from a recognized university.
- International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examination grade C in 6 papers with C in both English and Mathematics.
- Such other certificates or diplomas as may be approved by KASNEB.

Diploma examinations
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination with an aggregate average of at least grade C- (C Minus) or equivalent qualifications.
- International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examination grade D.
- Any other KASNEB technician or diploma examination certificate.
KASNEB Registration Portal
In order to register with KASNEB online visit the portal: http://online.kasneb.or.ke and create an account.
KASNEB Registration Fee
Registration fees differ and may be updated from time to time. Find below the current KASNEB examination and registration fee.
- ATC/ICTT/IST/CMT registration fees is ksh. 4,400
- CPA Part 1-ksh. 4,800
- CPA Part 2-ksh. 8,000
- CPA Part 3-ksh. 12,000
KASNEB Registration Deadline
Applicants intending to take the June examination must be registered not later than 30 November of the previous year, while those intending to take the December examination must register as students not later than the preceding 31 May.

Late registration may be accepted up to 15 February for the May / June sitting and 15 August for the November / December sitting after the normal closing date on payment of late registration fee, which is an additional 50% of the normal registration fee.
Syllabuses are provided to applicants upon registration as students of KASNEB.
How to Check KASNEB Results Online
There are different ways in which one can get KASNEB results
- You can either sms your KASNEB registration number to 20558 where you will be charged ksh. 10. For instance, Kasneb/nac/68148 to 20558. Getting results through sms service is only available to Safaricom subscribers.
- You can also get your KASNEB results online using the KASNEB student portal link http://online.kasneb.or.ke You must have created a KASNEB student account to get the results online. This choice also allows you to print your results online.
