Kakamega is a town in western Kenya lying about 30 km north of the Equator. It is the headquarters of Kakamega County which has a population of 1,867,579. Duties and Responsibilities
To undertake the registration and mapping of Agricultural Value Chain Actors in the County of Kakamega
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment as a Ward-Based Supervisor, a candidate MUST:
- Have a minimum academic qualification of a Degree from a recognized University, preferably in Agricultural Sciences, Statistics, Social Sciences, Community Development and any other related disciplines;
- Be computer literate and able to use a tablet;
- Be able to communicate in Kiswahili, English, and Local Dialect;
- The supervisors will also be identified from county government staff. Consideration will be given to the civil servants in the county;
- Should be currently working in the Ward that He/ She will be supervising; and
- Participation in similar exercises. Experience on extension and data collection will be an added advantage.
