Applications are open for the 2021 International Education Scholarships at Troy University.
This Scholarship is for new students who have elevated academic achievement and will be enrolled full-time in academic courses (minimum of 12 hours per semester/maximum of 16 credit hours).

About Troy University
Troy University is a public university in Troy, Alabama. It was founded in 1887 as Troy State Normal School within the Alabama State University System and is now the flagship university of the Troy University System.
Troy University is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACS) to award associate, baccalaureate, master’s, education specialist, and doctoral degrees.
Today, the university serves the educational needs of students in four Alabama campuses and 60 teaching sites in 17 U.S. States and 11 countries. Troy University has over 100,000 alumni in 50 states of the US and in other countries. The school offers 46 bachelor’s degree programs, 22 master’s degree programs, and 3 doctoral programs.
Who is eligible for the International Education Scholarships

- Applicants must be new undergraduate students enrolled in an academic programme at Troy.
GPA requirement
- Applicants are required to have a minimum GPA of 2.00 on a scale of 4.00 or a minimum composite score of 20 n the AC or 950 on the SAT-1 or 1030 RSAT.
Language requirement
- Applicants must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:IELTS – 5.5
- Duolingo – 48
- PTE – 46
- TOEFL IBT – 61
- TOEFL PBT – 500
- TOEFL CBT – 173

Value of Award: Tuition fee
This scholarship is for one year only (two semesters) and will waive out-of-state tuition requirements, but recipients must pay at least the full rate of in-state tuition unless they receive an additional Athletics Scholarship, Fine Arts Scholarship, Service Scholarship, or Civic Scholarship.
