The management of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) has announced the commencement of registration for its 2021/2022 academic session undergraduate admission exercise. All eligible UTME candidates are invited to apply.
Latest Update: No further Post-UTME test is required. JAMB UTME will be used as 100% score for all candidates. Direct Entry candidates will also be screened with their uploaded documents. The Online Screening Exercise is scheduled to commence on Monday 18th October 2021 and end on Tuesday 26th October 2021.
Eligibility: UTME candidates who scored 140 and above in the JAMB Examination including those that did not choose the institution and are willing to change.
Key Dates: The registration will commence on Wednesday, 8th September 2021 and close on Sunday, 17th October 2021
How to Obtain IAUE Post UTME Form
The registration fee is N2, 000.00 only.
Proceed for online registration as follows!
Procedure for Online Registration
- Visit the University Website iauoe.edu.ng.
- On ADMISSION Menu, click on “2021/2022 UTME/DE Screening.
- On the page that appears, click on “Register for 2021/2022 Session UTME/DEScreening”.
- A page appears; enter your JAMB Reg. No. and Click Register.
- If you are a FIRST CHOICE candidate:
- Your details will appear.
- Click on Confirm to confirm your details.
- Enter your Phone No and E-mail & click on submit.
- An SMS and E-mail containing your logon details will be sent to you. Your logon details will also be displayed on the page for you to copy and take note of.
- If you are NOT a FIRST CHOICE candidate:
- Click on UTME Registration button, a form will appear.
- Fill the form completely and click on submit.
- An SMS and E-mail containing your logon details will be sent to you. Your logon details will also be displayed on the page for you to copy and take note of.
NB: Following instruction 6 above, remember to effect change of institution to Ignatius Ajuru University of Education from JAMB Portal. Candidates who used awaiting result during JAMB registration should remember to upload their O’level in JAMB portal and do same in university portal.
- Click on Login and enter your username and password sent to your email/phone.
- You will be prompted to change your password. Save your new password.
- From the menu on the left, click on Pay Screening Fees.
- Click on Pay for UTME Registration button and then click on Generate Invoice below.
- Confirm your Invoice and click on Proceed to Pay
- You will be redirected to Interswitch payment platform, enter your card details and make your payment conveniently. For security purposes, your card details are NOT stored in our secured portal.
- After successful payment, click on ‘Update Personal Data’ menu on the left, UPDATE ALL FIELDS on your registration form and submit.
- Print your Registration Slip and log out.
- Save your login details. Your username and your password are your personal credentials to access your profile in the university portal.
NB: Please, ensure error-free and seamless registration. The University is engaging in data verification of it’s candidates. The data provided by the candidates during registration will be electronically matched with the data provided by JAMB against every candidate. This is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.
Use your personal phone number for registration. Information will be available on a regular basis. No duplicate phone number is allowed.
Candidates who registered for JAMB using awaiting results should remember to upload their O’level to JAMB Portal and do the same in the University Portal.
Please note that registration is online and candidates are advised to register from any location as no candidate will be allowed physically on the University Campus.
THE SCREENING EXERCISE: Online Screening is scheduled to commence on Monday, 18th October, 2021
IAUE Post UTME Screening Modalities
The admissions Committee at its meeting held on the 6th of September 2021, approved that the 2021/2022 screening exercise for admission will be fully online. Therefore all candidates seeking admission into Ignatius Ajuru University of Education must remain at home as the screening is conducted. The following modalities will be followed:
- No further Post-UTME test is required. JAMB UTME will be used as 100% score for all candidates. Direct Entry candidates will also be screened with their uploaded documents.
- Candidates’ data as provided through JAMB Central Admission Processing System which has also been uploaded to the University portal will be carefully screened for admission processing.
- Candidates who did not rank well but scored high during the JAMB Unified Tertiary Examination (UTME) will be notified for change of courseto enable the Admissions Unit to process their admission. The ranking implies that candidates must have the required UTME and O’level combinations as outlined in the JAMB Integrated Brochure and Syllabus System (IBASS).
Action sought for all candidates:
- Candidates are advised to regularly monitor their admission online on JAMB portalto effect necessary changes that will be required.
The changes could include:- Candidates may be required to effect change of course in JAMB portal for a proper ranking within a given period.
- Candidates may also be required to make certain data corrections within a given period.
- Affected candidates will be contacted through secured text message notification. The information must be confirmed on the University social media pages and the website. Candidates, parents and guardians are advised to regularly visit the university website and social media pages for vital information. The University will not be responsible for any act of deception or scam on the candidates, parents and guardians if the advice is not fully followed. It is believed that candidates used their personal phone numbers during the registration for the screening exercise as no duplicate phone is allowed by the university portal.
- Candidates with O’level Awaiting Result: Online screening will be conducted for candidates with O’level awaiting results when such results are available and uploaded on JAMB and University portals. Therefore, candidates awaiting results should not panic as a new date will be fixed for the screening.
- The Online Screening Exercise is scheduled to commence on Monday 18th October 2021 and end on Tuesday 26th October 2021.

Parents, guardians, well-wishers and other unauthorized persons are not allowed at the screening Centre whether online or offline during the screening exercise.
