About The Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ)
The Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ) is a corporate body established in 1983 by an Act of Parliament Chapter 137 of the Laws of Zambia with a mandate to conduct Primary and Secondary School, Teacher Training as well as Technical Education Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Examinations.
The ECZ has been in existence as a secretariat since 1987. Functions of the ECZ include among others, conducting examinations and awarding certificates or diplomas to candidates who pass examinations conducted by ECZ.
How To Check For ECZ Results Via SMS
- Open the message pad on your Mobile Phone;
- Type your correct Examination Number (Leave Space);
- Type the Examination Year (Leave Space);
- Type Examination Grade; and;
- Send to 8383;
Example: 179876543 2020 G12 and send to 8383.
NOTE: A device with an active SIM and the ability to send SMS will be required to perform this task. The SMS Service is available on all networks in Zambia.
How To Check For ECZ Results Online
- Visit the official ECZ e-Statements portal – https://eservices.exams-council.org.zm/e-sor/level_selection.php
- Select the ‘Level’ of Results you want to check for (e.g. Grade 7, Grade 12 Internal, etc.)
- Click on ‘Continue’
- After then, provide a valid ‘Examination Number’
- And, click on ‘Continue’ to check your result.
