About FIDA Kenya
FIDA-Kenya is a premier women’s rights organization in Kenya that has offered free legal aid to over 3,000,000 women and their children over the course of 34 years.
Having been established in 1985 during the 3rd UN Conference on Women held in Nairobi, FIDA-Kenya was registered in 1987 in accordance with the NGO Coordination Act. The organization is commitied to creating a society that respects and upholds women’s rights with a mission to promote women’s individual and collective power to clai their rights in all spheres of life.
FIDA-Kenya is a membership organization with over 1,400 women advocates, lawyers, and law students in Kenya. Each member has access to networking opportunities during Annual General Meetings, Members’ forums, retreats, among other organizational activities. Membership into the organization also offers a preferential selection for consultancy opportunities present in the organization.

Requirements
Applicants must at the time of application meet the following requirements:
- Be enrolled for an undergraduate university degree program, with at least one full semester to completion.
