Elimu Scholarship

Applications for the Elimu Scholarship 2023 are now open. The Elimu Kenya Scholarship Fund (Elimu Fund) is a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization that seeks contributions from individuals, groups, corporations, and foundations with the goal of providing hope, opportunity, and access to education through scholarships to Kenyan students and orphans with financial needs who display academic excellence and a desire to make a meaningful contribution to society. The Elimu Fund was officially launched on July 23, 2005.

Elimu Scholarship Requirements

You can only apply for the Elimu scholarship if you meet the requirements below:

  • Those with special needs and disabilities
  • Orphans and Vulnerable children
  • Students from vulnerable communities (from this sub-counties)
  • Candidates with poor parents living with disabilities
  • Candidates with parents living with HIV/AIDS and chronic diseases like (Cancer, Kidney failure e.t.c) that cannot raise school fees
  • Candidates who have been neglected or abused
  • Candidate must have scored 280 marks and above in KCPE 2022
  • Candidates must have done their KCPE 2022 exams from public schools
  • Candidates must be from (Listed 110 Sub-counties)

How To Apply for Elimu Scholarship

The recipient must have received admission to a public or private secondary school that is recognized as such by the Ministry of Education in Kenya. The scholarship, in most cases, will cover 100% of the tuition, dormitory room and board (where applicable), and other associated costs, such as books, uniforms, travel, and a monthly stipend.

  • Admission letter to the School you intend to go to (Email a scanned copy to application@elimufund.org)
  • Wait to be contacted.
