Applications are open for the Dutch OKP Scholarships for MSc in Water and Sustainable Development. The Dutch Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) aims to contribute to sustainable and inclusive development by offering access to education and training to professionals and organisations.
Scholarships will be available for the MSc programme in Water and Sustainable Development, and for the MSc programme in Limnology and Wetland Management that IHE Delft is offering jointly with the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) in Austria and Egerton University in Kenya. Both programmes start in 2022.
The OKP is a Dutch global development programme managed by Nuffic, a Dutch non-profit organization that promotes internationalisation in education.
Eligibility
- Mid-career professionals who are nationals of – and living and working in – one of the following countries are eligible to apply for OKP individual scholarships: Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Colombia, Congo (DRC), Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guatemala, Guinea, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Liberia, Mali, Mozambique, Myanmar, Niger, Nigeria, Palestinian Territories, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Suriname, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Vietnam, Yemen and Zambia.
Application
Applicants who wish to apply for the OKP scholarship are recommended to apply to IHE Delft for academic admission soon – by 15 March 2022 at the latest – and to begin preparing OKP scholarship applications.
Well-prepared applications are more likely to be selected for a scholarship.
