  1. Senior Relationship Manager
  2. Relationship Manager, Premier banking
  3. Business Development Officer

Senior Relationship Manager

Job Purpose Statement

To participate in the profitability of the Bank through provision of exemplary Relationship Management to Custodial clients while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements as well as continuous research and implementation of custodial best practice, both nationally and internationally. The role holder delivers first class service against agreed service standards and builds relationships and rapport with custody clients. The role holder is also responsible for building trusted and valued partnerships with custody clients at the daily transactional and operational level.

Job Specifications

  • Academic: A Bachelor’s degree any Business related field.
  • Professional: Investment Administration Qualification (IAQ), Regulation & Compliance Course, Bonds and Fixed Income Markets Course. Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB) qualifications will be an added advantage.

Desired work experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in banking particularly securities services (custody, Fund Administration), including at least 5 years in a similar role.
  • Prior management experience a plus

Relationship Manager, Premier banking

Job Purpose Statement

The Premier Relationship Manager is primarily responsible for acquiring, servicing and managing HNW client relationships through one on one engagement, identifying client needs and
providing them with the appropriate bank products, services and solutions.The Premier Relationship Manager is also accountable for

  • Driving revenue and volume growth of portfolio assigned
  • New to Bank client acquisition
  • Deepening of existing client relationships Cross sell of products/ solutions thereby increasing their share of wallet in the Bank
  • Retention of existing customers Increase of customer satisfaction levels Delighting clients through providing excellent service which leads to increased loyalty
  • Adherence to bank policies, procedures & guidelines
  • Recommending, structuring and selling solutions that address client needs

Ideal Job Specifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
  • Master’s Degree will be an added advantage


  • Customer Relationship Management Course
  • Sales Course
  • CISI Certified Level 1 will be an added advantage
  • Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance (COP) will be an added advantage
  • Desired work experience: Minimum 8 years’ experience 5 of which should be in a sales and service related role within a financial services institution serving HNW customers. In-depth knowledge of the local banking industry, banking products, banking services and banking regulations. Good working knowledge and understanding of general commercial regulations and practices.

Business Development Officer

Job Purpose Statement

Prospect, initiate and develop new IPF relationships with potential clientele within the Corporate team, Insurance and reinsurance industry, strengthen and grow existing relationships while analysing the risk, terms and conditions of acceptance without unreasonably exposing the assets of the bank. This job covers both internal and external Corporate customers, Insurance Companies and brokers allocated.

Ideal Job Specifications


Bachelor’s degree in a Business related field


  • Insurance and Marketing qualifications will be an added advantage

Desired work experience:

  • 2-3 years’ proven working experience in a sales & Marketing environment, with sound exposure to underwriting in Insurance or Banking Sector.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding set targets.
  • Knowledge of various Insurance product
  • Versatility, flexibility, passion and commitment to quality service delivery
