The Commission on Administrative Justice (CAJ) also known as the Office of the Ombudsman is a Constitutional Commission established under Article 59 (4) and Chapter Fifteen of the Constitution, and the Commission on Administrative Justice Act, 2011. The Commission has a mandate, inter-alia, to investigate any conduct in state affairs or any act or omission in public administration in any sphere of Government and complaints of abuse of power, unfair treatment, manifest injustice or unlawful, oppressive, unfair or unresponsive official conduct.

ICT Intern
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Duties and responsibilities for this position will be to:-
- Assist in maintaining Local Area Network and Wide Area Network;
- Assist in providing preventive and corrective maintenance;
- Provide technical support to users on software, hardware, and networks at Headquarters and regional Offices;
- Assist in carrying out systems analysis in liaison with users;
- Assist in providing in-house training to staff on usage of ICT hardware equipment and software applications;
- Assist in installing, configuring and deployment of ICT equipment and services;
- Monitor ICT infrastructure including networks, servers and systems for events, Usage and availability.
JOB SPECIFICATION
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –
- A Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: – Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Technology or equivalent qualification from recognized institution.
- On job training of at least one year is preferable

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties and responsibilities for this position will be to:-
- Assist in collecting information for undertaking research on various maladministration investigations;
- Assist in organizing forums such as meetings, workshops and trainings
- Assist in disseminating information on public education and advocacy
- Assist in drafting reports
- Assist in creating awareness on maladministration and the role of the Commission through public forums and use of print and electronic media
- Any other duty as maybe assigned from time to time

Investigation Intern
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties and responsibilities for this position will be to:-
- Assist in undertaking investigations on reported cases of maladministration and access to information
- Participate in collecting and compiling evidence to identify perpetrators
- Assist in interviewing witnesses and preparing statements
- Participate in drafting preliminary investigation reports for review;
- Participate in drafting investigation reports on maladministration issues.
- Assist in the updating of investigations registers and database;and
- Undertake Any other duties that might be assigned to them from time to time by the Assistant Director Investigations
JOB SPECIFICATION
For appointment to this grade, an intern must have: –
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Law(LLB), Anthropology, Criminology, Political Science, Sociology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and

Strategy, Research & Compliance intern
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and responsibilities for the position will be to: –
- Assist in collecting and collating data on Commission’s programs;
- Assist in implementing Commission’s strategic plan and service charter;
- Assist in implementing Commission’s performance contract and master plan;
- Assist in conducting economic analysis on programs and projects;
- Participate in carrying out feasibility study and service delivery surveys;
- Provide input in the preparation of development plans.
- Assist in carrying out desk reviews and research
- Assist in research data analysis on administrative justice and Access to Information
JOB SPECIFICATIONS

- A Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: – Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance & Economics or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
