Chinese Government Postgraduate Scholarship 2023 is now open for applications. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by the Chinese Government.

About The Chinese Government Postgraduate Scholarship
Chinese Government Scholarship—Chinese University Program is a scholarship established by Ministry of Education (MOE) to support Chinese universities in specific provinces or autonomous regions to recruit outstanding international students for graduate studies in China.
MOE authorized USTC to recruit full-time master and doctoral students under the Chinese Government Scholarship since 2008.
Chinese University Program, usually fully-funded, is open to graduate students of any nationality wishing to take up their studies at any of the part institutions.
SWUFE 2022 Chinese Government Scholarship Chinese University Program (Category B) is therefore now open for interested candidates wishing to enroll at the College of International Education, SWUFE.

Requirements for Chinese Government Scholarship
To be eligible for Chinese Government Scholarship Category B – Chinese University Program, you are expected meet the following conditions:
1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport in accordance with the Nationality Law of The People’s Republic of China
2. Applicants must abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and local government as well as regulations of SWUFE.
3. Undergraduates (applying for master’s degree program) or postgraduates (applying for doctoral degree program) who will graduate in the current year must obtain a national recognized corresponding diploma before enrolling in the year of admission, otherwise, the admission qualification will be invalid.
4. Applicants have had a national recognized bachelor’s degree (applying for master’s degree program) or master’s degree (applying for doctoral degree program).
5. Applicant Age Limit: Applying for master’s degree program: 18-35 years old, Applying for doctoral degree program: 18-40 years old.
6. Requirements of Language Proficiency: Applicants whose native language is English, or can provide proof of studying in a 2-year or above degree program in which the teaching language is English, do not need to provide a language certificate.
Documents Required for Chinese Government Postgraduate Scholarship
1. Academic transcripts.
2. Recommendation letters.
3. Study plan proposal;It should be a minimum of 1000 characters or words.
4. Valid language certificate.
5. Non-Criminal Record.
6. First page of personal passport.
7. Physical Examination Record for Foreigner (Attachment 2).
8. ID photo taken within 6 months;
9. Notarized highest educational degree or diploma certificate;
