We are into HSEQ consultancy (Studies, Certification of Facilities, Emission and Discharge monitoring); Training; and Engineering services. We have expanded our services to include Marine services (OVID inspections, suitability surveys, marine investigations) and presently provides NLNG (Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Company Limited )with these marine services. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Key Responsibilities
Bidding:

  • Prepares tenders and standardized tender templates and documentation
  • Compilation of various input to create a more complete tender proposal
  • Expansion of company registrations with the oil majors
  • Quality assurance for company services
  • Manage company-client relationship
  • Evaluate company services/products vis-à-vis industry standards and requirements
  • Identify applicable federal and state laws that govern company operations, products/ services, keep records/ registers and ensure company compliance
  • Assists in preparation and/or review of Tender Documentation Packages comprising of Instructions to Bidders, Contract Form, General Terms Conditions, Bid Forms, etc.
  • Maintains tender files and arranges their archiving upon Tender completion
  • Bid via NIPEX portal for oil and gas related company.

Training Development:

  • Course registration / validation with international bodies
  • Review business strategy to get Training arm running and productive
  • Review goals / targets with Business Development Team
  • Expand training scope beyond HSE e.g. Leadership, HR, Finance, etc
  • Renewal of vendorship
  • Achieve course validation by IOSH/IEMA and/or issue certificates in partnership with them or for dual certifications
  • Conduct feasibility studies for expansion plans on Marine and Downstream services
  • Review business strategy to get Training arm running and productive

Qualifications / Requirements

  • First Degree (minimum second class lower) in Business Development, Marketing, or Business Administration.
  • Professional Certification such as CIM,NIM or its equivalent
  • Certificate of training on Bidding especially on Nipex Platform
  • Remarkable organizational and conflict management skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Self motivated, good drive and passion for excellence.
  • 3-5 years post graduation experience.
  • Must have experience with Nipex bidding
  • Excellent communication skills.
