About The Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB)
Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB) is a department under the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government. The Board was established by an Act of Parliament i.e. Betting Lotteries and Gaming Act Cap 131 Laws of Kenya.
The Act provides for the control and licensing of Betting and Gaming premises and the activities carried therein; for the imposition and recovery of taxes, for the authorization of lotteries and prize competition as well as eradication of illegal gambling.

Requirements for BCLB Recruitment 2022
To qualify for the 2022 Betting Control and Licensing Board, BCLB recruitment, candidates must;
- Be a Kenyan citizen
- Have a Minimum KCSE mean grade D (plain)
- Possess Upper Second Class Honours Degree and above (or equivalent)
- Have a valid Kenyan National Identity Card and Pin Certificate
- Applicants must be between 18 to 26 years.
