About Douglas College
Douglas College is the largest public degree-granting college institution in British Columbia, Canada. Close to 17,000 credit students, 8,500 continuing education students, and 4,210 international students are enrolled here. Douglas College offers bachelor’s degrees and general university arts and science courses, as well as career programs in health care, human services, business, and the creative arts.
Each year, more than 4,000 international students from 92 countries take for-credit courses at Douglas College, accounting for roughly 18 percent of the student population.
Athlete Scholarships
This scholarship was created by Guangwei Ouyang, VP, International Education & Strategic Partnerships, in 2017, to support the recruitment of international student-athletes to Douglas College. The purpose of the fund is to cover the difference between International and Domestic student tuition fees.
Who is eligible for Athlete Scholarships at Douglas College?
- Applicants must be student-athletes at Douglas.
- You must have High school graduation OR must be minimum 17 years of age.
- Applicants must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests: IELT S – 7, TOEFL IBT – 83, PTE – 56, Duolingo – 110, CAEL – 60
Athlete Scholarships at Douglas College- Value of Award:
The selected applicants will receive $7,000 towards the domestic or international tuition fee of the applied program at Douglas.
