Arrell Food Institute Scholarships 2023 is now open for applications. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by the University of Guelph.

About Arrell Food Institute Scholarships

The University of Guelph is a comprehensive public research university in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.

It was established in 1964 after the amalgamation of Ontario Agricultural College, the MacDonald Institute, and the Ontario Veterinary College, and has since grown to an institution of almost 30,000 students.

The Arrell Food Scholarships of $50,000 per year available to doctoral and masters level students to support research focused on agriculture and food.

This opportunity is open for Students entering a full-time graduate program.

Benefits of the Food Institute Scholarships

1. The scholarship will only cover their studies under their original award timeframe (e.g, Masters level for a total of 6 semesters for a total of $100,000, payable in installments of $16,667 per tri-semester period or $50,000 per year).

2. Recipients of the Arrell Food Institute Scholarships will be known as the Arrell Scholars.

Requirements for Arrell Food Institute Scholarships

To be eligible for University of Guelph Arrell Institute Scholarships, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:

1. Applicants must be domestic or international students.

2. Applicants must be candidate for doctoral and masters level students.

3. Applicants must enroll in full-time degree program.

4. Applicants for graduate program in the fall semester following the application deadline with a minimum first-class (A-) admissions average.

5. Applicants whose research aligns with the vision of the Arrell Food Institute.
