“The eye is doing well,” Fury recently told Sky Sports News. “The eye is healed up quite well. Is there any risk? I don’t know because I am not a surgeon. “I am sure there will be. There is nothing much I can do about that.“If it opens, up it opens up. It’s out of my control.

“There is nothing I can do about that eye opening in a fight.”Wilder has hit back at the notion his sole route to victory against Fury later this month lies in him knocking out ‘The Gypsy King’.

“Of course I can win a fight on the scorecards,” Wilder said. “Anything is possible in boxing.“I’m not worried about my boxing IQ or my level of skill. I’m very confident in what I do and say and that makes me who I am.

“That’s why I’m still undefeated, and every fighter has tasted the canvas. You’re witnessing history.”Kubrat Pulev has dismissed Eddie Hearn’s claim he’s on the brink of fighting Anthony Joshua at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

“Calm down Champ,” the Bulgarian wrote on his official website.“I see that you are very worried to fight away from home and you are absolutely right to be, haha!
